Welcome visitor, this site
provides you with thousands photos of Rome and other
Italian cities: you'll find them in the "Photos"
section. If you're looking for a particular photo you'd like to use the
"Search" tool on the left. The site is often
updated with new photos, so we encourage you to come back frequently.
Photo Roma has been online since 1999 and while at first we only
had photos of Rome, we have later added images of other Italian
cities; currently we're planning to add pics from other European towns.
In these years many things have changed, the web has evolved and so
our site but our love for the city is intact and we'll do our best
to share the many beauties of this wonderful city.
The site is mantained by only two people... it was a huge work to
take, scan and upload 6,000 photos with a simple 56K connection.
We have spent many hours and money on the site but we think it was well worth the effort:
it represented the opportunity to visit Rome and our country.
The site is surely a cost but we think that
sometimes money surrenders to passion, so we decided to make all the photos available
absolutely free of charge. We only ask authorization for
commercial purposes and to send us anything you'd like to suggest. If you wish to receive information about
this site or you're looking for a particular image of Rome, feel free to
email us.
